The owner of this hotel is a fraud!!! Be careful! I booked a prepaid hotel from 18.01 to 20.01. When the owner wrote to me about the time of my arrival, I was on the plane. Arriving in Mexico City early on the morning of 19.01, I wrote to him that I would be at 7 a.m. and headed to the hotel. At the door, the guard said that the check-in was from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. I replied that I had paid for the room since 18.01 and asked the security guard to find out if I could check into the hotel. He called the manager and gave me the phone. Explaining to the manager that I had not slept for more than 27 hours, tired, I paid for the room and wanted to go to the hotel. He replied that he would see what could be done. After 5 minutes, the owner called me and started shouting that the check-in was from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. and that if I didn't leave the lobby, he would call the police!!! I have been in many countries, but this is my first. I realized that this is a scam. Moreover, the owner canceled the second day of his stay, 45 of the 1,545 pesos were returned!!! I wrote that I would give comments everywhere about this behavior, he replied that he didn't care. The conclusions are as follows:
1) when I arrived at the hotel there was a manager and he did not help me, they did not check in, but the day was already paid for. 2) they didn't send me any code for the door to let me in, but they have an entrance by code.
3) the owner shouted at the client and specifically unilaterally canceled the second day, leaving the student on the street. 4) we left the money to ourselves without noticing the client. These are scammers!!! When I wrote in a telegram that I would leave feedback everywhere about what he was doing, he replied that he didn't care! A real businessman cares about reputation, the same initial took the money and did not check into the hotel!!!
