First, I want to share my feedback as an expat living in Russia who does not speak Russian. I was recommended to stay for 2 nights at this hotel, being told it is the best one in Kazan. Unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing.
My biggest issue was the staff’s inability to speak English. Except for one employee named Sofia, whom I met upon arrival, I could not communicate with anyone. The hotel is very large, so I never saw her again. I was unable to book a massage because the staff could neither speak English nor understand me. I also asked about the Banya, but no one could assist.
On my second day, it was snowing heavily, and I asked how to get to Adriana Restaurant. The staff responded in Russian with some hand gestures, telling me to leave the hotel to reach the restaurant. I did so, but when I arrived, the restaurant was closed, and a lady inside told me to return to the hotel to reach it. So I went back, and they took me to a different restaurant called Atrium—not even the one I requested—which I also did not enjoy.
Overall, this was a very frustrating experience at a hotel claiming to be the best in Kazan.
